Leavitt Machinery Knox Mountain Hill Climb

The Leavitt Machinery Knox Mountain Hill Climb is an annual event at Knox Mountain Park, in the City of Kelowna BC, Canada. The 2.2 mile (3.5 km) paved road to the summit is narrow with off-camber corners, steep grades, and climbs approximately 800 feet (245 meters) in elevation for an average grade of 6.7%. The current hill record is 1m:34.903, held by Aran Cook of Edmonton, Alberta.

2025 KMHC Podium

Congratulations Trevor Yip this year’s “King of the Hill”. Trevor dominated the weekend in his 2017 custom Tesla Cobra EV with a winning run of 1:46.121. This is the first overall win for a fully electric vehicle. Congratulations Trevor, our 2025 Knox Mountain King of the Hill!

Carl Marcum put himself on the podium in his 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer with a second place run at 1:48.665. This is an amazing effort as this was Carl’s first ever run at Knox Mountain.

Andre Marziali, our 2018 King of the Hill, finished third for the second year in a row running his 1999 BMW M3. Andre timed in at 1:49.003.

This year’s 2025 Knox Mountain Queen of the Hill is Jennifer Ocker who ran a 1:54.717 in her 2004 Subaru STI. This was a new personal best for Jennifer and the FIFTH year in a row she has won Queen of the Hill!

Congratulations to all of our drivers! It was an amazing weekend of hill climb action!

2025 Charities

The Central Okanagan Bursary and Scholarship Society (COBSS) is a charitable foundation composed of volunteers from the Central Okanagan area who are dedicated to providing financial assistance to our Grade 12 graduates in order that they may further their post-secondary education.

These awards are intended for students entering a college, university or other post-secondary institution in September of their graduation year. Over the years, COBSS has distributed several million dollars to deserving graduating students from the Central Okanagan.

The Westbank Museum was established in 1978 to provide a repository for artifacts of the early days of the Westbank area, to generate community programs of historical and cultural worth, and to preserve Westbank heritage.
